Catches The Worm 2010 - 2012 is a compilation of my best material released in the years prior to my debut album release 'Sport' in 2013.

While assembling this collection I took the opportunity to update and remaster each track so that the best possible versions could be represented here. For two tracks I decided to go with live versions that were recorded in 2017 instead of the originals. The reason for this is that substantial improvements to the arrangement of those tracks had been made across several years of playing them regularly at live shows.

This compilation is the perfect bookend to my first decade of making music. When I released my first EP in November 2010, I was 20 years old and wasn't really sure what direction my life would take. I never anticipated that anyone beyond my close friends or family would take an interest in music that I made, nor would I have expected that making music would eventually make up part of my day job.

My musical journey through this past decade has had ups and downs, with some things not going quite as planned. But when I think back on some of the incredible and miraculous things that have happened to me, and picture all of the amazing and talented people I have met and worked with - all as a direct result of making this music and putting it out there - I know that I have been very fortunate and I feel immensely grateful.

I am releasing this compilation, on my 30th birthday, as a thank you to all the people who have supported me over the past 10 years. I love you all and I hope you enjoy revisiting this music as much as I did.
